Which area counts?
The calculation uses glass area, not floor area. For an initial estimate, measure the width and height of each pane and add the areas. A pane 1 m wide and 1.5 m high measures 1.5 m². Inside and outside cleaning is included in the standard scope above, so you do not double this area again.
A 90 m² apartment does not tell us how much glass needs cleaning. The number and size of panes can differ considerably. If you cannot measure safely, describe the windows in your enquiry and add photographs if useful.

What affects the quote?
Readily accessible windows that are cleaned regularly require different planning from difficult exterior glazing or cleaning after building work. Please include:
- whether the property is an apartment, house or business, and its location;
- approximate glass area, or the number and type of windows;
- the requested inside and outside cleaning, plus any blinds;
- noticeable soiling, residues or special coatings;
- the floor, opening arrangements and access to the exterior.
